Nothing by Marlon J. Locsin

Nothing
By: Marlon J. Locsin

I don’t remember it anymore
I have tried and tried harder, really
I even forced myself to recreate the lore
To spark it an new in my memory

But it is gone
Hollowed
Done
Dead

I used to cling on its memory
And then the memory of the memory
And then nothing,
purely

I look upon you
And feel nothing
I look upon you
I remember nothing but you leaving me

Anagnorsis By Marlon J. Locsin

*This would be the last time i'll write about it. I just remembered what my dear friend Anne said "Yun na yun?Ayaw mo magsulat ng poetry, songs, essays at blogs?" And for those saying na bitter pa rin ako ewan ko sa inyo gusto ko lang magsulat kasi magaling ako eh. Generic yan pede nyong ibigay sa ibang tao syempre sabihn nyo na lang na ako yung nagsulat*

Anagnorsis
By Marlon J. Locsin

Days after the our eternal dance ended, and you threw me against the wall.
I came to understand the meaning of mundane things, love, spirit, passion, spark and eternity.
I felt as if i spent my entire life and every bit of me with you, but after that i felt sadness...
your love, your warmth, your soul...
Where would I take the memory of you? How should i keep it?
I now know that we are not meant to stay forever.
We still have the vast future ahead of us, and I think together we will not grow.
God has already answered my prayers and I think this is it, our separation.
My thanks for the love and time,
And my sincere apologies because even you shall pass...

Thanks.
Good luck.
Farewell.
